Resetting for Resilience

Designed for teachers and other educational staff who work with students that exhibit problematic behavior. This course builds upon The Circle of Courage® philosophy providing a framework for implementing its principles in an educational setting.  Topics covered include a review of The Circle of Courage® philosophy, the four universal growth needs of belonging, mastery, independence and generosity and how they can be met in a classroom, points and levels systems vs. The Circle of Courage®, and utilizing the Circle of Courage philosophy and its ‘courageous lens’ in discipline practices (including how to write Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and run In School Suspension (ISS)/”Reset Rooms” in a trauma informed, resilience focused manner).

Prerequisite: Children of Trauma and Resilience or Children of Trauma.
