Designed to help boys, ages 12-18, develop interpersonal problem-solving and cooperative-living skills, the Juvenile Justice program is a residential treatment program. Located in Albion, MI, this program is on a non-secure campus, free of barred windows and high walls. This design allows students to feel safe, encouraging a positive change in their attitudes and behaviors. Students are placed in groups determined by age, maturity, committing offense and established treatment needs. They live and go to meetings with their group, encouraging a comfortable atmosphere and positive development.
This program is managed by Sequel Youth and Family Services, which strives to continue the same level of high-quality care that students have received for over 100 years on Starr's campus.
