After the Crisis: TECIP

This two-day training will teach participants how to define, and provide examples of typically encountered, school based, traumatic events, introduce crisis fundamentals (e.g., definition, management goals, response characteristics and distinguish between:

a) safe school plan and traumatic event crisis intervention plan and
b) building TECIP Team and district crisis support team. 

Participants will also learn how to outline and implement specific steps and actions to be followed when systematically managing a building response to a traumatic event including group intervention strategies and a framework for developing a TECIP team in your school.

Prerequisite: Children of Trauma and Resilience/Children of Trauma OR Trauma Informed Resilient Schools/Trauma Informed Schools
