Description:
Starr Commonwealth seeks enthusiastic, energetic individuals to work as part of a treatment team with culturally diverse adjudicated adolescent male population at its Albion, Michigan campus.  Applicants must possess strong value system, courage in the face of resistance and exceptional problem solving skills.  Tremendous opportunities for advancement with an international leader in the child and youth care field.  Strength-based program addresses problems of troubled youth referred by the court system.  Definitely not a desk job! 

Responsibilities Include: 
Working closely with treatment team in constructing and maintaining treatment plans for individual youth and for the group, assist in organizing and supervising work assignments and group activities, and teach basic living skills.  Must be able to engage in variety of physical activities and have ability to intervene/perform physical behavior management techniques. 

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Social Work or related fields.  Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to obtain chauffeur's license required.  $11.42 an hour with BA/BS degree or $10.58 an hour with HS diploma or GED.  Health benefits after 90 day waiting period. The successful applicant must pass drug screen, TB test, criminal history and driving record background checks.
