Starr Commonwealth seeks enthusiastic, energetic individuals to work as part of a treatment team with culturally diverse adjudicated adolescent male population at its Albion, Michigan campus. Applicants must possess strong value system, courage in the face of resistance and exceptional problem solving skills. Working closely with treatment team in constructing and maintaining treatment plans for individual youth and for the group; assisting in organizing and supervising work assignments and group activities; and teaching basic living skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Social Work or related fields. Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to obtain chauffeur's license required. $11.77 an hour with a BA/BS degree or $10.90 an hour with HS diploma or GED. Health benefits begin on first of the month after 30-day waiting period. The successful applicant must pass drug screen, TB test, criminal history and driving record background checks.
