Starr Commonwealth, a private referral and residential school, seeks an energetic individual to provide group treatment for a culturally diverse adolescent male population.
Responsibilities include conducting group/individual counseling, developing treatment plans, interacting with referring agencies, conducting family meetings, coordinating other client needs, and providing leadership for treatment team. Applicant must possess strong leadership skills, motivation and courage.
MSW, Counseling or related degree and 3-5 years experience working with youth preferred. BSW or related degree, progress towards a Master's program, and three years experience working with at-risk youth required. Health benefits after a 90 day waiting period. The successful applicant must pass drug screen, TB test, criminal history and driving record background checks.
