Position: Director of Talent Management
Location: Starr Commonwealth Headquarters - Albion, Michigan
Starr Commonwealth seeks a Director of Talent Management to be headquartered at the Albion, Michigan site of Starr Commonwealth, an internationally recognized leader in transformational programs for children, families, schools and communities.
The Director of Talent Management will provide leadership and management for all human resource functions and will collaborate with senior management and front line employees to ensure that Starr Commonwealth's approach to human resources is innovative, state of the art and positions Starr Commonwealth as a leader in talent management.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced human resources expert and team player with the ability to interact with senior management in problem solving and contributing to redesigning the organization's current human resource practices toward best practices and anticipated trends. A strong knowledge of and ability to apply metrics and data in the evaluation of performance is required.
We need an effective manager with strong skills in delegation and maintaining accountability. The successful candidate will have flexible communication skills and be able to maintain a clear balance between being a collaborator and a driver in the development and implementation of ideas and recommendations.
